Michael Barron joined the firm in 1994. Prior to that time, he spent several years serving on the faculty at Indiana University School of Law. Michael has significant experience in a wide variety of practice areas including general business representation, litigation, estate planning and personal injury. He currently devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing companies engaged in various aspects of Internet-based commerce and advertising. This representation includes negotiating deal terms and licensing agreements, monitoring privacy concerns and handling all other related activities. His experience in this practice area led to his inclusion on the Hamilton County Internet Privacy Task Force where he helped to craft the county's new policies regarding, among other things, the availability of personally identifiable information through the Clerk's web site.

Michael also represents many small to medium sized businesses in connection with virtually all aspects of their legal needs. He provides estate planning and succession advice to clients and also handles litigation matters involving significant injuries or death.

Michael lives in Mount Lookout with his wife Carrie and two sons. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is actively involved with Kilgour Elementary School (where he coordinates and coaches several of his children’s sports teams.)
